A network of trained non-medical health providers β consisting of pharmacies, drug sellers, retail shops, market stalls, itinerant vendors, and village health workers which serve harder-to-reach populations through multiple community-level programs that deliver a range of essential, quality health products and services.
SunCare Health Center β non-profit, SCH-operated service delivery facility located in downtown Yangon, where a multidisciplinary medical team including doctors, laboratory technicians, trained counselors, provides TB and HIV services to vulnerable populations and partners of key populations. Furthermore, presumptive TB cases referred by community volunteers, HIV-reactive clients screened by Sun GP providers, and walk-in clients receive laboratory diagnosis, and linkage to treatment for TB and HIV through an integrated, one-stop service model. The facility is supported through donor funding and contributes to national public health priorites.
